Karen Mullins - Clinic Manager, Queensland Surgical Coordinator, Aesthetician.
Karen has had several years of experience in the Cosmetic Surgery Industry and is Lavish’s Clinic Manager and Surgical Co-ordinator.
She is dedicated to providing all patients with personalised care and attention, and truly loves caring for women.
Most will speak to Karen on the phone when they ring for information or to make an appointment. Karen’s warm and friendly nature is welcoming and reassuring to all and she has a special way of making you feel at ease.
Whether it be queries regarding Cosmetic Surgery procedures, non surgical cosmetic treatments or advanced skin treatments, Karen is there to advise and inform.
She co-ordinates all surgical procedures and makes all necessary arrangements. She is a great support to all patients both before and after surgery, and ensures that patients have all of the necessary information with regard to their appointments, surgery bookings, pre and post-op consultations.
Karen communicates with all patients on a regular basis, and she encourages patients to call at any time with any queries or concerns they may have.
She provides extensive information for patients, including travel and accommodation advice for out of town patients and their families. She can also provide advice regarding finance plans.
Karen also introduces patients to personalised, results-orientated skin rejuvenation treatment programmes with expertise and professionalism.
Prior to her work in Cosmetic Surgery, Karen had over 15 years experience as a Paramedical Dermal Technician. Karen also has a diploma in Health Science (Beauty Therapy), is fully trained and qualified in Laser treatments and holds a Laser Safety Officer certificate. Karen is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in microdermabrasion, skin peels, cosmeceuticals and mineral make-up.
Shae Strong- Registered Nurse
Shae completed her Nursing Degree in September 2008 and is awaiting official certification as a Division 1 Registered Nurse.
Shae is passionate about pursuing a career in Cosmetic Nursing and has been working and gaining knowledge and experience with Dr Jayne Bambit at LAVISH for several months. She has a thorough knowledge of Cosmetic Surgical Procedures and Non Surgical treatments and procedures, and continues to expand her knowledge and experience.
After a patient has had an initial consultation with Dr Bambit, Shae co-ordinates surgery from a clinical aspect. She will follow up on all test results, see patients pre-operatively and assist Dr Bambit in the provision of post-operative care.
Shae is trained in all aspects of Advanced Skin Rejuvenation Treatments and is dedicated to helping you achieve results.
Prior to joining LAVISH Shae worked in the Health and Fitness industry for 8 years.
Cherise Duffett- Victorian Surgical Coordinator, Assistant to Dr Jayne Bambit (Victoria), Clinical Dermal Therapist, Paramedical Aesthetician.
Cherise has been assisting Dr Bambit in Victoria for 4 years. All who have spoken with or met Cherise will attest to her kind and caring nature, and her professionalism.
Cherise takes all enquiries and arranges all consultations for patients in Victoria. She provides advice and information regarding surgical and non-surgical procedures and treatments, including appointments, theatre times, costs and payments.
Cherise co-ordinates all surgery in Victoria. She makes all necessary arrangements and is in constant communication with patients whether it be before or after surgery. Cherise is there every step of the way to advise, reassure and comfort.
As a Clinical Dermal Therapist Cherise’s advanced training equips her with the necessary knowledge and skills to work alongside Dr Bambit as a paramedical aesthetician, which is a clinical assistant.
Cherise's qualifications include a diploma in Health Science and a Bachelor of Health Science in Clinical Dermal therapies. Cherise also has a Laser Safety Certificate issued by Victoria University, a training certificate by Palomar, and also a certificate issued by the Australian Institute of Laser Therapy. of which she is also a member. She is a member of the Dermal Therapies Society and the Australian Institute of Laser Therapy.
Cherise has over 5 years experience operating various LASER systems including e-light, alexandrite laser, Omega, Harmony and Multilux. Cherise is extremely knowledgable in medical skin treatments including medical microdermabrasion, medical skin peels, Lymphatic drainage, Oxygenation treatments, Cosmeceuticals, Intense pulsed light hair reduction and Photo rejuvenation.

Margaret is a vital member of our team, and we are extremely privileged to have her.
Margaret who is a CPA is our Business Manager and she has many years experience in the Cosmetic Surgery Industry.
Margaret has in depth knowledge and expertise in business, and also assists in the every day running of the clinic. |
